About Per Diem Rates

Per Diem Rates turns GSA’s yearly rate tables into one page per destination, with monthly lodging caps, meal allowances and a trip calculator.

The site is run by Connor Bailey. It is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated for the General Services Administration or any other agency, and it is not a government website.

GSA publishes the rates as spreadsheets. This site reads the files for FY 2021 to FY 2027, checks them (every month covered, M&IE on one of the published tiers, caps never below the standard), and adds comparisons GSA does not publish: full-year averages, ranks, seasonal spreads and changes over seven years. Reading the rates explains each one.
